| - I usually take my car to a neighborhood repair shop, but I just moved here and don't have "a place" yet. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here, besides the fact that it took MUCH longer than I expected. I went on a Thursday, around dinner time (probably the worst time ever) and they told me it would be a few hours. Since I didn't want to hang around that long, i decided to come back the next morning which I thought would be a better idea. There were a few people ahead of me and they said it might be about an hour until they got to my car, but I decided to wait. Terrible idea.
I needed a tire inspected and patched for a slow leak and had a coupon for a 24.99 oil change. The service was great, but I was not too happy with the fact that I was there from about 9:30-2. There is an Einstein Bros. down the street where I was able to kill some time and get some breakfast, but after that it seemed to take forever. When they finally got to my car, they suggested getting new tires because it was a bit dry-rotted and patching it could increase the chances of a tire blow-out. So instead of a quick patch, I had to wait for them to change out the tires which took at least another hour.
The man who first took care of my order, Tim, was wonderful. Introduced himself and shook my hand when I approached the counter. I don't often get that friendly vibe from the large chain companies and I just love it when I do! Plus, he asked for my autograph (on the credit card machine, but still!). Another staff member, I believe his name was Rob, took over my order and he was wonderful as well. The staff gets 5 stars!
I had a coupon for 15% off tires and a $24.99 oil change, so I was able to save about $30. I would probably go back here for service, but I will be sure to have someone give me a ride home so I never EVER have to wait there again.
