This is a family owned, small, casual dining establishment. Nothing fancy, and that's just fine. It's not Thai, to be clear it's Laotian. I've been eating here for years, many, many years and have eaten most items on the menu. The pad Thai is made w/ a noticeable sauce, the curries are thinner than the coconut milk varieties found in Thai restaurants and the flavors here are quite spicy. If you prefer milder heat just ask. They have a sweeter, browner version of the pad Thai that is out of sight! The owners will likely be 1) cooking and 2) taking your order most days out of the week. I enjoy the food here and have eaten at almost all of the Thai-like cuisine in town. Don't be turned away by the curt staff or the dingy walls. Consider it added ambiance, I don't think you'll be sorry.
