After handling the mundane task of renewing my AMA card, I decided to be adventurous and try something I've never done in my life...TRY COBBS BREAD.
I couldn't quite decide what to pick out when I walked in. I was overwhelmed by the wall of carbs and all I could calculate was how much MyFitnessPal was going to guilt me from the bricks of bread I was about to shovel into my soundhole.
But the friendly lady at the counter suggested I try their scones and cinnamon bun. Sure why not? Seizing the day I also picked out the first things my eye landed on, which were their ham and cheese rolls and their multigrain rolls.
Now here is the amazing part, I was somewhat excited to break my new bread knife on my unsliced bread but when the lady offered to cut it for me and pointed to the Autobot behind her, I couldn't resist. Wow, the Cobbs Breadcutter, what a majestic mechanical beast.
My visit cost me $10 and now I'm sitting with little to now regret at consuming bread as heavy as my forearm.
Onto the missing one star. They packaged my scones and c-bun in a funny way. They lay the icing down into a wax paper and shoved it into the bag. Not a big fan considering I had to lick the tasty fairy tears from time to time, ensuring there were even bites of dough in between. Is there a way to fix this Cobbs management? Yes? Then DO IT!
Jk. Can't wait to visit the location by my place. Is it me or is there a Starbucks conveniently nearby a Cobbs bakery?
