For one of the first times in my life, we walked out of a place before ordering. I am not sure where to start.
We went on a Saturday around 7:30. I was surprised on how many tables they jammed into the floor. The noise in the room was loud, obviously no thought was given to acoustics especially at a place where there was live entertainment just outside.
Feeling too cramped at out table we asked to be moved outside. The place was built with no regard that it gets windy and in the summer I am not sure how they will shade tables.
But the reason for leaving was the intial service was non-existant. We order two glasses of their house cabernet only to find out they were out of it. No offer of a substitute. We ordered another wine which was also out of stock. How do you run out of a house wine at 7:30 on a Saturday.
It was too noisy, too windy, too crowded and still too new to consider. If they are going to charge full prices they should have experienced help, better stocking and a way to make the place seem not so cramped. Even the layout by the front door forces people to stand on top of each other.
The food may be OK, we never expereinced it but based on all of the othe factors of being prepared to open, my guess is that they are not ready to serve either.
