| - We decided to try this AYCE lunch special- $21 each before 3 PM- because this place is very close to where we live. The seating area is very small, but wasn't crowded, which was nice. The walls inside were painted with large fish and the decor was all cohesive. Now for the food!
We ordered an order of seaweed salad, veggie tempura, and calamari tempura. All were good.
For rolls, I ordered a Monster roll, a Snow Rabbit, and something else with lots of eel. I can't remember the name! My girlfriend started off with one order of some roll comprised of deep fried banana, sweet potato, and crunchy onions. We stopped there for rolls because we aren't great at AYCE sushi just yet.
After we finished our rolls, we ordered dessert. I got tempura red bean icecream and she got honey toast! Both were quite larger than I was expecting and the tempura icecream really hit the spot for me.
I added everything up and if we were going a la carte, we'd have spent a little more than double what we paid in the end.
Good servers, and a good option outside of Chinatown!
