My 2001 SONY Trinitron was working until they installed a new receiver box which ultimately turned out to be bad since it constantly lost the signal. Meanwhile, service tech advised me it was working and th TV was bad and receiver worked. Worked only temporarily. So I carted off the $2,500 TV to Savers and donated it. The new TV says no signal. They made me buy a new TV and I have no recourse. They should have tested the SONY on another receiver box. This goof cost me nearly $800 and who do you call for recourse. If anyone has a suggestion please let me know. This has been a three-day ordeal and I'm waiting for the service tech to call me. It's definitely the referbished receiver that they sent me the SONY was working until they installed it. The other receiver had a broken power on button and that's why I replaced it.
