| - My husband and I decided to check out Three Spirits Saturday evening as it is super closer to our home and just opened up fairly recently!
I loved the concept behind the brewery. Additionally, I thought the entrance and bar gave off a great pub style feel. The brewery space is very large!! They really can do a lot with this space in the future just due to size! I personally wasn't a fan of the partial walls.....they just didn't have any appeal to them whatsoever. However, I do like the thought behind the walls. I think you could create that private atmosphere with good use of furniture (couches, tables, etc). I did see that they had a nice outdoor patio space. However, since it is freaking freezing in NC, I didn't check it out.
There wasn't a ton of customers there but I think the tap room may have been slightly understaffed as it took a little bit to get drinks. We decided to get a flight and got the Red Moon Rising, Sweet Memories, the pilsner, and a fruit flavored one. Now, I completely recognize that everyone has different tastes in beers and I will full out admit that I am a Hop Head. I love hoppy and full bodied beers. Unfortunately, none of these beers did it for me. I am hoping that as they get more established, they will get a bit bolder with their beers.
Looking forward to seeing what is in store for Three Spirits. Due to the size of the tap room, I'd love to see more couches, bar tables, and maybe a dart board or so in there!
Great job guys on your start into the Charlotte craft beer scene!
