I'm wondering if there has been a change in both management and staff since these older bad reviews. I stopped in on a whim a few weeks ago to see about a deal Verizon had emailed me about. I usually dread going into a cell phone store and/or contacting Verizon. Also I had been delaying upgrading my phone because they keep getting bigger and bigger and I liked my little iPhone 5 thank you very much. But the promise of a nearly free iPhone 7 for trading in my 5 was too much. Was it too good to be true? I had to find out.
I was immediately greeted by a very friendly guy who informed me it would be a few minutes before someone would be free to help me. Okay, that's fine. Less than five minutes later another very friendly guy came over. He confirmed the deal was real as well as helped me get into a better plan for less. Over the years I had called Verizon asking for a better or cheaper plan and told nope, nothing to offer you. The nice guy who helped me was a bit surprised by this. (I wasn't--while I've been with Verizon forever, it is definitely not their customer service that keeps me from leaving-their coverage is the best).
This store was easily the most efficient and friendly of any Verizon store I've ever experienced. From now on I will always come here for any Verizon-related needs.
