| - This is in response to my earlier comment about this business, and the further comment made by Michel S. The issue was addressed in 2 days due to my pursuit of following it up with management, via email, with little direction from staff as to how to show the problem that may arise in Midoco's pricing methodology. In the private email exchanged, it was I who had to prove the error of being charged for an item I did not purchase, even with the proof of video review, but not until I was told, "thanks for your patronage." (No one asked how long I had been shopping at Midoco, which had been for fourteen years until this issue arose.) After I pointed out the general confusion of the matter, and again, how this could present a problem to future patrons, I was credited with the discrepancy I indicated, without any apology made to me, and further suggestion that I interpreted Midoco's week-long policy incorrectly. (Although, ironically, at the time the issue was brought up, no staff member suggested I had interpreted things otherwise.) So, I will stand corrected regarding video-review policy: weekdays only. (In my case, the weekend was out to clear up an error.) When I did not respond via private email of Midoco's arm's-distance responsibility in the matter, I was further asked regarding this review, again in private email, to consider "removing it." I acknowledge that Midoco did respond to my concerns in detail, and thanked them for doing so, for what I believed was their attempt at providing good customer service, after my insistence of being wrongfully charged while also under suspicion of possibly being untruthful. Now I understand, the motivation to rectify the issue, especially here on Yelp publicly, is about constructing a reputation, I once enjoyed supporting, and by this exchange, no longer do. Unfortunate. I wish Midoco the best, and thank them, one final time, for this learning opportunity.
