  • Our AC broke down late in the day and we needed a place to spend the night. This was the closest pet-friendly hotel to our house, and was cheap so I booked it. Had very low expectations. Wow! It's a beautiful hotel! We arrived too late for the happy hour, but did take a dip in the indoor/outdoor pool. Microwave & fridge in our room, staff was beyond friendly, lots of good breakfast choices in the morning, AND my little pooch was welcomed there (without a pet fee!!). The entrance/exit is a little weird though - it's curved so you really can only go into or out of the parking lot if you're headed east on Pinnacle Peak. Fortunately we arrived and left at low-traffic times so we made a few illegal turns *blush* Hopefully there's a better entrance that we just didn't see. They're pretty skimpy on the toiletries too, and the towels were only slightly softer than sandpaper, but for $75/night I won't complain. We'll definitely come back here in the future if the AC breaks again, or we have more houseguests than we can handle, or any other reason we would need a local hotel!
