| - It's not traditional mexican food, lacks flavor inspiration. The restaurant itself is clean, it has a great ambiance, and is nicely decorated. The entrance convinces you that you're about to enjoy a traditional home cooked mexican meal but in reality you're eating to sustain here, you're not eating for joy.
Let's start with the complimentary salsa and bean dip - the chips were nice and warm, the salsa had a nice flavor. However, the beans used in the bean dip don't appear to be the same refried beans provided with the entrees. it was waxy in texture and bland.
I ordered the Burro and Enchilada plate, I selected the green chile burrito and a cheese enchilada, the plate comes with rice and beans. I enjoyed the rice and beans. The green chile smelled similar to cat food, I still tried it, the meat was tender but that's all I'll say about that. The enchilada sauce must be made with flour and a chile powder, the flavor didn't resemble a recipe that calls for chile pods. This is just personal preference, I still ate it.
Overall, I won't recommend that place and I won't try it again.
