So I was just in Vegas this week and I was able to visit the Walk in Salon. I came in in emergency mode. I had a botched self-dye job and did't want to walk around Vegas for 3 days with bad hair, so I stopped in the salon to first get a consultation to see if there was anything I could do to help my hair. I got set up with Lauren who was fabulous. She didn't make me feel bad about trying to do my own hair (like some stylists have in the past) and felt very confident doing a color correction on me. We made an appt for the next day since what I needed would require lots of time.
I came in the next day with some photos for what I was thinking for cut and color and Lauren was super excited by my ombre inspiration since she thought that would do well for the color correction, and it looks awesome. The coloring took forever obviously because there was a lot to fix and I have a massive amount of hair- but Lauren was great to talk with! I learned a lot more about color and she even wrote down the formula so I can do my own roots if I want (or give to another stylist back in my home town).
The cut and style was fabulous too. She knew how to work my thick hair and make it gorgeous. I could not stop looking at my hair the whole trip! The color came out amazing! She really was a miracle worker because I was a wreck when I came in.
I was super impressed with the prices as well. I thought it was going to be super expensive since I was in a hotel in Vegas, but the prices were honestly cheaper than what I would have paid in NYC. Even in Brooklyn. Color correction, highlights, and a cut, all under $200. Hard to beat that!
Lauren was so great, I honestly want to make the trip to Vegas just to have her do my hair every few months!
