| - Worth a try at least once, maybe. Would I go back, I'm not sure. I really expected great things when I opened the door to the wonderful smell of donuts lingering in the air. The place was clean and inviting, with the a Funkadelic vibe from the 60's and 70s'. While the staff was friendly and helpful, offering a sample of a plan donut to try and
explaining the process of the donut toppings. This donut shop offers small, two to three bite cake style donut only, with dozens of toppings with many of the topping added to the donut to order. A friend and I ordered a half dozen to try. Both of us like the donut rolled in Saigon cinnamon sugar the best, while also sampling a lemon frosted, blueberry cheesecake, peanut butter chocolate crunch, a maple bacon donut and I'm sorry I forgot what the last one was. The one we anticipated liking the most and brought us here was the maple bacon one and it was also probable the most disappointing of them all, maybe because we wanted it to be the best of them all. We personally thought the frosting to be overly sweet with a very strong artificially maple flavor, with the bacon being very cold and chewy on top. The rest of them were good but not great for our taste. Price to value ratio was average at best, costing close to .35 to .55 cents per bite. Granted, everyone has different taste, likes and perceptions, so I would recommend giving it a try to see what you think.
