| - Extremely disappointed, we have always had a fairly good experience here but this last time it was a new tech and a new veterinarian. We were complimenting our dog on how crazy and full of energy he is for being 10 and the tech said, "yea that's how mine was then woke up one morning and she was dead." We went silent, why would you say something like that when we were already worried about our dog. She continued to say unprofessional things and we just wanted out of there, the vet wasn't much better. Biggest reason for 2 stars is this vet failed to diagnose a serious eye condition in our dog which is obvious when you look at the eye as it's glaucoma. Our dogs normal vet evaluated him this past week, a few weeks after our visit to crossroads and diagnosed him immediately and said it was essential we got him to a specialist to save the good eye. Well it's too late he lost his vision in both eyes 2 days later. Had the vet at crossroads just been honest and told us, we could have started him on treatment weeks ago. Now hes in extreme pain, blind, and we have to find a place that can take both his eyes out all thanks to the vet at crossroads. Yes I blame you because you failed to diagnose something that was obvious and put it off as an eye infection and you also failed to educate and knowing that he's a cocker spaniel and susceptible to getting glaucoma you should have known he needed to see an eye ophthalmologist immediately. It took his normal vet a whole 2 minutes to assess his eye and say yep its glaucoma get him to a eye specialist immediately. So now our dog is blind and yea maybe he would have gone blind in the right eye anyways but we took him to you, trustingly, and you failed us and him. So moral of the story, if you want good honest care, go somewhere else!
