| - Yum yum yum.
Pros:
- fall off the bone ribs! Free 1/2 rack for Elites (that was pretty sweet ;D)
I chose to go with Sticky Fingers which was yummy, but it seemed like I got a lot less meat compared to the other yelpers (that makes me sad... :(
- tons of parking; I utilized the handy parking from Square one, hehe
- drinks weren't too bad; most refreshments were $2.
- the VIP section was pretty amazing; there was a cool guy going around giving away wet naps, napkins & toothpicks!
Cons:
- I wasn't expecting their beer mugs to be made of plastic... but I guess that's understandable since it was a family festival/event
- the blooming onion really wasn't that great (in comparison to the ones I've had at CNE)... so don't get it!
- It was HOTTT... but there was a grate that had cool air coming up from the vent (very refreshing, but watch out girls if you're wearing skirts/dresses)
Essentially it boils down to this:
VIP Pass (costs $25): beer mug, VIP lounge access, fast rib line, private washrooms, 1/2 rack of ribs and two sides, admission fee (included)
Pass (costs $10): inclusive of everything except the ribs
P.S. I GOT A FREE BEACHBALL... SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET 0=D Otherwise, I think it's pretty handy that the VIP pass works for all 4 days. It gives you rib line bypass (which is really handy given that at least 20-40 people will be waiting in line), access to the VIP lounge, VIP lounge washrooms & a neat little beer mug ($25 value). I'm not a big rib-fan, but this one made a fan out of me.
