  • We were visiting Madison and came in on a Saturday for the Farmers Market at the Capitol. What a zoo! State Street was closed for a street fair as well, and all the streets are one way, so we were having a heck of a time getting around. Lost and hungry, we stumbled on this deli, just a block from the lake and park. A great find. Boar's Head meats, made to order sandwiches, a really good deviled egg potato salad, and fresh, not too chewy rolls. Prices were reasonable. Service was helpful and friendly.
