| - This place has been around for quite a while, and having recently moved to the area, I checked it out.
Although this is a gay western bar, don't hesitate coming in a tank top, shorts and flip flops. It's all about having fun here... No pretenses.
This is a massive place. It's the largest gay bar in the area. HUGE outdoor area with several bars inside AND outside so you're never too far away from your next cocktail. Bartenders are attentive, friendly, and very efficient.... I rarely saw a line of people waiting.
Outside there was a drag show going on, with a real stage and some GREAT music playing. If you're into line dancing, there's plenty of that on the main dance floor indoors. I have two left feet but it was mesmerizing watching all the guys in perfect (or near perfect) synchrony. I may actually go for lessons; it looked very do-able and fun!
Oh, and there's a FOOD TRUCK that parks out back on the weekends. I'm told it's there Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. So when it's 1am and you're hungry, there's nash to be had out back.
As for demographics, I saw every color there. Gender-wise there were plenty of straight women having a great time. I saw only a handful of twinks though... It was mostly an over 30- crowd when I was there.
I'm definitely going back. Plenty of eye candy, good music, great outdoor space, and lots and lots of friendly people
