  • I LOVE PORTER! Everything from the retro flight attendant uniforms to the business class-inspired seating to the amazing Billy Bishop lounge. Seriously, there are free newspapers, coffee, tea, water/juice/pop, cookies and free access to Macs or WiFi. The seating is comfortable (like sitting in your favorite arm chair, not stupid airport seating) and the vibe is relaxed. The best part, however, are the on-flight amenities. In an age where airplane food is a thing of the past, Porter blows you away with little boxes of fresh snacks. You get a small sandwich (I've had peppered ham with swiss and roasted turkey with brie), a side (2 fresh oatmeal raisin cookies or potato salad) and a little chocolate. The kicker? Free Steamwhistle or red or white wine. YAY! Some small notes (that don't impact my rating): the ferry is just ridiculous, it runs every 15 minutes, so if you're running late, you'll probably miss your flight. Conversely, lines at security are basically non-existent, so you might make it after all. Also, there is no on board entertainment, but the free booze makes me settle in for a nap anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
