| - For $57 or so a night, you can't beat it. Assuming you're not like taking your summer vacation here and expecting some lush hotel, it's pretty nice. The lobby and parking lot is nice and welcoming. Check in was quick and easy, they do require a $50 deposit on a credit card at check in. Pets are free to stay which is a huge bonus for us.
I read a lot of people complaining about the area so I was a little worried what I was gonna see when I pulled in. People like to exaggerate a lot, the area looked perfectly safe. It's a large hotel circle type deal. There's a holiday inn, a motel 6 (which I suppose could be seen by some as sketchy) and then our hotel and some restaurants.
Rooms were clean with contemporary furniture. Free WiFi. Blow dryer, iron, ironing board, flat screen tv and safe. Could use more artwork on the walls, but again $57.
I also read that someone experienced bed bugs.. I think they were bitter. The beds are perfectly clean (I checked the seams) and safe to sleep on. Shower was nice and hot water was good, which is always my favorite part about staying at hotels.
The beds are comfortable, a bit on the firm side for me, but good. Only thing I suggest to make this a more comfortable trip, is to bring your own pillow. The pillows here were the only dissatisfying part of my stay. They are sooo firm and thin.
Other than that I'd stay again for sure.
