Since the Pantry, Mirages other 24 hour restaurant opened, I think the line is smaller at Carnegie Deli. But why on earth did they change the format from sit down restaurant to order from counter and grab a number and find a seat?
I agree with other reviews here, it certainly has lost its appeal, even though their sandwiches (just get corned beef or pastrami; rest are average and all feed an army) are the same as is their breakfast, just like how I remembered. Pantry's smash Browns kicks butt over Canegie hash browns though.
I guess one good thing is you don't have to pay tip or do you still have too with its new format? I left standard 15%. Curious what others have done.
