Bad experience with Scott at this location. My front windshield cracked and Geico set up an appointment here for me for a replacement. I arrived this morning 10 mins prior to my appointment time. Noone was in the front desk, except for one male customer waiting in this small lobby.
As I could see the cars being worked on thru the glass window in the lobby, I stood there and watched. Scott came out from the right door asking what I needed? I told him I had an appointment at 10. He asked for my name.
I asked if it was going to be a factory/dealership glass, and I showed him the paper with the part number I had gotten from my car dealership. Scott looked at my paper and said it would be a an off-brand windshield (Aftermarket winshield) without Acura brand printed on it (this is how you know if your windshield is a cheap one).
I said I would call Geico over the phone. He said no, he would submit it to Geico for approval and snatched my paper as he walked over to his photocopier.
I asked him how long it would take to get a response from Geico. He said a few days. Mind you his voice tone was way off.
I said AGAIN that I would call Geico. He continued insisting me that he would need to submi it to Geico without my authorization. He said, "I HAVE TO SUBMIT IT TO GEICO FOR APPROVAL." No Scott, You Don't Have to! You only HAVE TO if I authorize you to do it on my behalf. It is MY CAR, I choose brand name or off-brand I want for the windshield. I choose where to get the glass replacement done. I DON'T have to get it done at Your Shop! So, Don't Tell me that you Have To Submit it like I Must Get it done at Your Shop!
I took my paper back from the scanner and left.
And...I will get it done elsewhere. Thanks for the BAD FIRST IMPRESSION!
