  • When Sarah decided to forge her own path, leaving a well-regarded salon after many years there, I followed. Her new location is conveniently located in the Atherton Mill of Charlotte's South End. It's tucked away inside Sola Salons and near a host of great places like Savory Spice Shop, Vin Master Wine Shop and Luna's. She shares the place with one other stylist, it's small but well-appointed and comfortable. As for the haircut . . Sarah translates vague descriptions of problems and desires of what I want. Even when confronted with random, patchy hair loss, Sarah read into the otherwise benign condition, kept tabs on it and cut my hair so no-one noticed. You get a cut, a wash and a drink all for a small premium over a place like Great Clips. Sarah sends me off happy, that's a great return on my investment.
