  • Pros: Time honored diner. Fabulously large portions. Great staff. Easy parking. Penn Gillette (sp?) comes here for a reason. Cons: JAMES. Do not let this unpleasant, surly, rude, obnoxious man unnecessarily bring the atmosphere down in such an vaunted, loved, time-honored institution such as this. This is a HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY place. The staff here works very hard to provide a positive, uplifting atmosphere for the thousands and thousands of guests from all over the world that come here. A hostile and arrogant bar tender (who scalds himself on hot coffee by not holding the handle; and charges people for non-alcoholic drinks while they're PLAYING) is not what this place needs. Absolutely not. Me and the other guests will not return to a place that has someone destroying thei atmosphere. Unacceptable.
