| - Foodie Paradise.
If this became my regular market, I'd have to move into my car, but I'd still be happiest girl in the world.
McEwen is where the perfect everything - produce, seafood, meat, cheese - come to be purchased and consumed.
They have a unique selection of products unavailable anywhere else. On the weekends, vendors showcase their products, which gives you the opportunity to learn (and taste!) about new products.
The floral department (I shouldn't even call it that, given the size), has the most interesting, beautiful, and unique assortment of flowers.
Please note: You do not go to McEwen's to buy a common product. This place is catering to high-end consumers. Someone who is spending a hundred bucks on a little (yet amazing) tenderloin isn't going to care that a bottle of Fiji is 2.99. Alternatively, I've seen some pretty aggressive sales here; a couple of times having 2 for 1 sales on Mozarella di Bufala (about $30 a pop). That's nothing to scoff at, and nothing I've seen elsewhere!
This place is like Christmas.
