Two words..... HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
Here is the summed up version of my experience:
*unsigned parking to point you in the correct direction.... annoying right off the bat
*expensive for a family of four based on what you get to see (I don't mind the price if it was worth it but it WAS NOT.... sadly I can't even think of one "cool" thing I saw)
*tiny elevators barely fit me, my sister and two strollers (small like the children's museum, wasn't expecting that with such a big NEW complex),
if you have a stroller this place is not accommodating, just getting to the restroom was difficult and a bad layout
*small scaled exhibits with poor diversity, everything looked the same.....literally
*dirty water making it very difficult to see any animals, it's really an issue in a lot of the tanks
*I actually felt bad for the penguins, terribly small area for them and forget seeing the exhibit if you have a stroller or a wheelchair..... it's not "friendly" viewing/easy to access
*Lastly I like a good zoo or wildlife park but the animals here seem sad. Their tanks are too small, too dirty and not enough enrichment..... you can see it's effecting the animals by their demeanor. (You don't have to be an animal rights activist to see they aren't happy) God help the dolphins coming.
I am glad I didn't purchase a membership before walking the facility. I hope they get the aquarium running better because as of now I will never return and I will share with friends and family my experience.
PS- the people who invested in building this aquarium should go take a trip to the Denver aquarium and take notes: pretty tanks that are large enough for the animal that ANYONE can walk/roll up to and enjoy (as opposed to sitting down in some rotating theatre like the Odysea, good luck telling a two year old to sit for 25 min)
