This room was the best part of my Vegas experience. Neophytes to Las Vegas, we decided to split the trip between mega-cheesy and relaxing. After a few days at the casinos, it was just lovely to go to a hotel unattached to a casino. It's a short walk to the Aria with decent bars, restaurants, and gambling. It's relaxing. The room was beeeaaauutiful. It's simple, modern, and we had a gorgeous view looking-out over the Belagio and the strip.
Our check-in and check-out experiences were flawless. They seemed to "get it right." I highly doubt that I'll return to Las Vegas (it's just to family-friendly)... but if I do, I'll certainly consider another stay at the Vdara.
