The quality of the food has gone down significantly since its opening. It is still one of my favorite buffets. However, a lot of the food is lacking in one way form or another. I used to love the crab legs and steak. The crab is so so now. They still cook it for you if you ask them to. Delicious In butter!
Now the steak is something that I live for. And I love myself an all you can eat quality buffet. They offered three types: prime rib, waygu beef, and tri-tip. I always have my cuts rare or medium rare. The tri tip was extremely dry, prime rib was the best out of the three but extremely fatty, the waygu was a bit chewy but beyond tender.
Bone marrow: I had 3-4 of these. It seriously tastes like butter. I would have taken them home for my dogs if I could have!
Mexican food bar: best part of the whole meal. It is kind of a problem for the amount of money you pay. $60 a person.
Bacchanal no longer has their large line/variety of soups. I was looking for the ginseng and chicken broth soups but found basic minestrone, clam chowder, and two more options I cannot recall.
The dessert bar is loaded with AYCE sweets!!!
