my buddy and i came here for dinner recently since it was close by to our conference hotel..
we were seated promptly despite not having reservations and it was relatively packed house..
service was prompt and friendly.. my buddy got the duck confit and i got the beef cheek bourguignon.. the execution was spot.. the duck confit was crispy, ducky and beautifully prepared... my beef cheek bourguignon was phenomenal.. really a simple dish.. but the beef was ridiculously tender.. the braise was rich and hearty..
all this was washed down with beer..
if i'm back in montreal.. i'd definitely head back here.. it seems like it was packed with locals
