| - How is it one can travel all the way from Israel with purchases in tact, only to arrive in Newark and have chocolate confiscated for exceeding the weight limit. Seriously? There's a weight limit on a chocolate bar? Uh, Miss TSA agent, could you break the chocolate bar in half and give me that. No, Mr. Passenger, it's already been confiscated. Uh, it's sitting on the table right next to you. Sorry, Mr. Passenger, we'll be eating that on our next break. Okay, the last statement was unspoken, but it probably happened.
What does all this have to do with China & Crystal Clinic? TSA broke a piece of pottery my husband had purchased for me, too. So much for carrying your valuables with you. In any case, we took the item to China & Crystal Clinic. Now granted, it was not cheap. It was $145 to re-attach the tail to the kitty and do the touch-up work, but it was really excellent work.
I highly recommend this business for restoration of valuable or even treasured items. Don't expect it to get done in a hurry. It was about 3 months, but worth the wait!
