| - I was pleasantly surprised since this place was picked solely because it was in the Monte Carlo where we were staying. I came here with a bachelorette party for our last night in Vegas. We had 18 people in the group so I thought there might be some issues from the sheer amount of people. Our waitress did an excellent job answering questions about the menu, giving good wine recommendations, splitting out checks, and making sure we all had an enjoyable dining experience.
First off, this place is smack dab in the middle of the casino floor and the front is open out to the casino. Since we were seated towards the interior of the dining area, I hardly noticed the action out there, but I'd imagine it might be pretty distracting if we were sitting towards the front of the restaurant.
So they bring these delicious little buttery rolls in mini cast iron pots that are so adorable. I could've ate my weight in those rolls! For dinner, I split a Caesar salad and the bone-in rib eye with a friend and the group shared side dishes so we could try a variety of things. The salad was a standard Caesar, nothing to get excited about but that rib eye... the visual aspect alone lets you know this is gonna be a damn good piece of meat. It did not disappoint and especially the meat around the bone was so good. We took turns gnawing on the bone, and this is starting to sound explicit so I'll move on to the sides. I got to try the spinach, asparagus, mashed potatoes, crispy fries and mac n' cheese. They were all fine sides, but beware portions are pretty small. I would say 3 sides should be plenty for 2 people.
I feel like I got a good deal because I split my salad and main entree with someone and I left very full and satisfied. I didn't get to try dessert because we had a cake waiting for the bachelorette in the room but I'm sure it would've been as delicious as the rest of the meal.
