| - Really enjoy Indian food and we go out for it frequently. Have been here 3 times. The first was for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, not crowded, but they didn't get bread out until we were pretty much done eating. And the pakoras (yum) didn't get refilled and they were out of tea. (One small vacuum pump container for the whole restaurant--follow Star of India's example and do a big urn, tea adds a lot to the food ;-) Food was good, but seemed like their timing needed some fine tuning. A couple weeks later took a family group for buffet dinner, friendly nice staff, and much better with 'timing'. The tikka masala is the best in Phoenix. . . tasty, smokey, wonderful, and the garlic naan is terrific. Lots of selections for the vegetarians in your group. Just went to lunch again, got bread with meal, they refilled buffet in a timely fashion, but still need to make sure they have enough tea. If you offer it, you need to have it.
(Otherwise I'd give 5 stars.)
