Called yesterday morning to make a reservation. I was in Primm on my way into Las Vegas and wanted to snag an 11 am appointment with Rex. Eileen took my call and informed me Rex was on vacation. So surprising because that guy works like continuous 12 hour days. I don't think he ever takes off work. He's like Cal Ripken Jr over here.
Surprise quickly yielded to shock. My brain went numb. I couldn't think. I balked when Eileen offered me to book me with another masseuse. A Best Foot Spa massage by someone other than Rex? I gotta think this over.
While I was thinking I ran all around Las Vegas doing all kinds of Las Vegas things. By the time I made it back to the hotel last night I needed a massage even more.
Called at the crack of 9 this morning and made an appointment for 11.
Eileen booked me with Daniel. Fantastic masseuse. Tremendously talented.
One hour foot massages generally follow a similar routine. If you go often enough you get used to it (and you can tell when the "masseuse" doesn't know the routine). Daniel knew exactly what he was doing.
It was sort of like one of those crazy martial arts movies where the hero kicks the asses of about a dozen bad guys. Every trouble spot was identified and dealt with. I mean, dealt with. There wasn't going to be any more trouble, OK. You goddam muscles are just going to have to relax.
