  • I go here to get my coffee almost every morning and I love it. Pretty much everyone thats made me coffee here has been sweet, courteous, and quick to make my drinks. Eli is my usual Barista and really he's just awesome. I moved to Madison from the very coffee loving city of Seattle and I must say I'm quite impressed. Some days I show up right before needing to rush off to catch the bus. Regardless of my few minutes of available time, Eli somehow makes my latte perfectly everyday. Perfectly meaning- my espresso is never burnt, my drink is never watered down with too much ice, and thank goodness for this, he always knows exactly how much Vanilla to put in. This is a problem I've found as a young woman around the city, I think it's assumed I want these really terribly sweet drinks? I do not. I love the taste of coffee. When I made this clear to Eli he was one of the first to listen. Thus my favorite shop and latte is found at Espresso Royale.
