| - I think ALL of the reviews are correct - so set your expectations accordingly. The seating policy is a surprise, if you aren't aware of it (2 people cannot sit at a table for 4, make a reservation especially on lobster night, etc.) and the Groupon crowd is probably a loss leader for them, so they are a bit testy about us. BUT, we had a very nice dinner (small but fresh oysters, tasty antipasto platter, very good pear and lemon curd desserts and we added a 1.5lb lobster) and it's worth the Groupon at least. They got friendlier once we ordered the lobster on top of the Groupon.
Service is slow, but they do look like they're hustling all the time.
CONS:
Additional bread is $2??? Really??? They give you 4-5 small slices with the antipasto platter, and if you have 2-3 people, well you do the math. That's not just cheap, it's stingy and unfriendly. The entire LOAF probably cost them $0.50!
Menu is very limited - it's more like tastings to go with the wine rather than entrees. The menu is online and check it out first or you may be disappointed.
In summary, I don't think they convert a lot of people to become regular customers, which is unfortunately not smart when they're investing in Groupon. But it's a nice place in the neighborhood.
