| - I had been to The Vig (this same location) a long time ago and remembered not being impressed, but wanted to give them another shot. Met a friend there for dinner and drinks since we were nearby. The service was decent. There was some chick there singing out on the patio and, yes I know she's an "artist" but she was not that great to listen to (read: sang like a hyena) and it was VERY distracting and annoying.
The entire parking lot is blocked off for valet only, which irritates the crap out of me. You have to park across the street and play Frogger to get to the restaurant, unless you want to pay some punk to park your car 10 feet from where you pulled up. If they wouldn't block off the parking lot for valet, there would have ben PLENTY of parking (there were maybe 10 cars). Literally just a cash grab. I do not just throw my keys to some schmuck for the heck of it, and give him $$ on top of that.
The Prime Vig Dip was on a super crusty roll (they toasted it but perhaps left it in too long), and the prime rib was cold, dry, and bland. I hate to say it, but I've had better Prime Dips at a food truck.
I'm writing The Vig off - there are many other places very close by that have better food, and won't force you to valet just so someone can make a couple more bucks. Again, the service was decent (not great) but everything else was ho-hum.
