Fantastic experience from start to finish!
Booked on Open Table and actually arrived 30 mins early. They were able to accommodate us right away. It was VERY busy on their patio and moderately busy in the dining room. Definitely filled up as the night went on. It was a tiny bit loud in the dining room, but was kind of expected.
The gentleman we had for a server (tall, dark guy and dont see his name on the receipt) was very good, and quick to refill water and wine.
Ordered a great Viognier from the wine list, and it was ice cold.
We had the Goat Cheese Spinach Dip thing, and it was great! A bit spicy, which was a great surprise.
Friends at the table had the Calamari dinner, which she said was outstanding. She is from BC too, so pretty used to seafood and really enjoyed! Other friend had the Egg Carbonara fettuccine, which she also loved. She is Italian, and knows a thing or two about pasta! haha ;)
I had the New York Strip with bacon marmalade, and it was soooo good. The bacon jam was a great mix with the beef, which was cooked perfectly. It was a great hunk of meat, on top a hefty pillow of mashed potatoes and veggies. The mashed potatoes were soooo creamy. Very tasty indeed!
I am not a dessert person at all, but the apple and blueberry crumble called my name...and i responded by EATING IT ALLLLLL.
Loved the presentation on the long plate with a brush of custard.
Accepts Amex, wooooo!
Definitely recommend, and will definitely return!
Apparently they have $2 parking? I didnt know this until after! Ugh!
