I have no huge complaints about my stay here. I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the Fremont street area, however the big bonus is that it's not actually in the middle of the action, nor is it actually connected to a casino. It was nice to go and relax away from all the commotion.
The biggest drawback was still the noise. I had a room facing Ogden street was was awoken multiple times by the fire breathing Mantis at the container park. Also the El Cortez casino blasts music 24/7, and you can hear that as well. Alarms, sirens, fighting drunks - you can hear it all if you face the road. My sister had a room facing the back and claimed it was eerily quiet. Just know that when it comes to noise pollution your mileage may vary.
That being said the rooms were clean and had a vibrant color scheme that I liked. It seemed empty, and I rarely saw any other patrons here. If you're looking for something a little low key this might be a good option for you.
