| - This is a quantity-over-quality type bar. Every imaginable food, but not great in any sense. Breakdown:
Crab legs: more displayed than the ocean itself, but excitement quickly evaporated just like the legs-no meat in them! They are not pre-split, very difficult to get any meat out and shell is fuzed with skin and meat, tough task and takes more time than it should. Very "un-meaty."
Mexican: Taco meat looks gross, tastes so-so. You can make tacos, soft or hard, with usual condiments. Nacho chips available for making nachos, but cheese sauce is watery and disgusting to the max. Use shredded cheese instead top with mystery meat to melt, then add toppings.
Pizzas: oven baked, most are good just catch the hot ones.
Deserts, gelatto: Very good selection, ok taste, nothing awesome, but many items to try, all portioned tiny (good for sampling)
Salads/soups: standard fare, found clam chowder it was all right. Other soups looked gross. Salad bar is ok but not extensive, very basic.
Sushi: Good tuna and salmon rolls with heavy rice. I got a bunch, ate out the middle left the rice, I don't give a ____.
Teppan station: To the right of sushi, easily the best, and only great part of meal. Pick your items, give to chef, ask for shrimp with your bowl he fries it up benihana style, its really tasty. Wish i found out first day and not second, you can eat only 3-4 bowls of this and be full and happy as hell.
Morning omelettes made to order decent, usual crappy thin and dried out bacon (very bad) hash browns suck ass/cold. And for brunch next day, all leftovers from dinner are on the trays again.
They do not have fried chicken but grilled. They have fried chicken wings near salad which are good n greasy. Crisp coating.
Fruit station-a joke.
Chinese- standard orange chicks, broccoli beef smothered in heavy garlic dark sauce. Little chicken and some pad thai will do thanks.
In all, just work your way around, take little by little, because you will not like half and eat half, but in the end the bargain that counts, i guess. Get the $37 24-hr pass eat 4 meals (buy at 2pm, eat at 2pm, 8pm, 7am, then 1pm!)
Service-very attentive and nice, tip them they deserve it you cheapskates.
