Downside Risk has great service and great food. It's interesting to see an American sushi bar, and they do a great job at it. There's some Thai Satay which was an interesting twist to a typical American bar. The bartender was classy, answered all your questions, and was prompt, quick, and friendly. No gimmicks, just pure clean service. It's not for the young either. Great for happy hour appetizers, but not too great for dinner or lunch.
So why only 2 stars? The biggest problem with Downside Risk is there is NO draft beer. With all the positives, why settle for only bottle service? This is a huge blow to such a nice classy place too. I don't know about other people, but when I'm heading out to a bar, I want to drink and eat items I am unable to obtain at home. Generic bottle beer isn't it.
