Was in the Yonge and Eglinton area looking for a place to eat lunch. Turned to my trusty Yelp app and this was one of the first few places to pop up.
It's both a fish market and a restaurant, so the seafood is pretty much guaranteed to be fresh. After much deliberation (everything on the menu sounds good!), I decided on the lobster roll for $16.
It comes a two small toasted top-split hot dog buns packed (and I mean packed) with chunks of perfectly cooked lobster mixed with sweet corn and green onions and lightly dressed with a mayonnaise-based sauce (just enough to hold everything together). It was really fresh tasting and it was satisfying without being heavy.
The decor isn't anything to write home about. It much more resembles a fish market than anywhere you'd expect to sit and eat. There is some counter seating in front of the window and along one wall and some bench seating with curiously low tables in front of the display case. The benches are upholstered in this 80s royal blue fabric (I assume it's polyester) that is comfortable enough but ultimately a strange design choice.
The staff are super friendly and it feels like a family-run establishment (I have no idea whether or not it is). Although the prices are a touch on the high side, I feel that you really are paying for the freshness and the quality of the ingredients.
