ROOM COMPLETED:
The Study
DIFFICULTY:
Medium difficulty
# OF PEOPLE:
Completed with 2 people in 50 minutes. If there's no teams after you apparently they let you keep playing. We were told there was a group she let play for 110 minutes. Worker told us it typically takes a group of 2 people 80 minutes to complete so I'd recommend going with 3-4 people...any more and it could be claustrophobic in certain areas.
IMMERSION:
So after completing the game and talking about it we were kinda confused as to what we were doing because the storyline wasn't that strong but we still really enjoyed the room.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE:
I hate when you have search heavy rooms, and being in the study with tons of books I really appreciated that the moderator told us not to touch any without getting clues first to let us know which book to touch. Otherwise we would have thrown open all of them and been so confused trying to find the clues.
One negative aspect is that you are given 2 baskets..1 to throw keys in and the other to throw locks in that you have opened. When I open locks I immediately scour through it to find clues but being OCD instead I opened the box and ran into the other room to put the key and lock in their respective baskets. Took away from the flow of the game a little bit. Despite that we loved the game - it was a really fun room and wish they had more rooms to play.
