I was referred to go here from a co-worker who always has fabulous hair. Of course it's a risk going here but you can't beat the price or experience. Well, I asked for an ombre. I left with Orange tints to sections of my hair, bleached, uneven patches everywhere. My hair was a wreck. And I don't blame the student who didn't tell me how bad it was (I didn't realize how bad it was till I got home) as much I blame the instructor.
First off, it was a Saturday and extremely busy. The student did her job and asked the instructor the appropriate questions from the beginning. She seemed to know what she was doing. Further more, the instructor "Leslie" glanced by barely a handful of times the entire 4 hours I was there. So I assumed my hair was turning out fine. WRONG.
I am appalled that NO one said anything to me or offered to have me come back to fix it. I understand the students are still learning and what not, but she obviously needed more supervision. Instead I was passed along as if my hair was completely ok. I should have known it was going to be a problem when the first part of my hair was processing for almost 3 hours due to the fact that the student didn't have much help.
I had to pay 200$ to get it fixed the next day and my stylist was in shock that at a school like Paul Mitchell they used FOILS to do my ombre.
Know what you're getting yourself in to if you go here. The price is good and experience is cool, but the instructors need to care a little more.
