If I had a choice, I would give 0 star.
I purchased the Social Network coupons (Groupon & WagJag) for 2 months of Executive Membership package at Extreme Fitness. At the time of purchase, it was not specified that there is a financial obligation or addtional obligations. However, when I visited Extreme Fitness, they told me that I was obligated to sign a full year contract with them in order for my coupon to work. When I told them I was not interested, the employee and the general manager continued being aggressive with their sales of the membership.
They were absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Their agressive way of attempting to sell their membership made me feel uncomfortable and they were also rude when I declined the offer of the full year contract.
I was NOT obligated to join for the full year contract when I bought the coupon. They also claimed that they were the best fitness center in the industry with the best reputation on Better Business Bureau - I am extremely disappointed with this rating if this is the case.
NOTE: Please do not be misled by promotions on the flyers and coupons.
