  • Earlier this week I had posted a review for a different Toyota dealership. I had the wrong dealership. But... I did visit this dealership and had just as disappointing experience. The Salesman Danny didn't treat me like I was stupid but still put a bad taste in my mouth for Toyota salesmen. Last night I started at a Toyota dealership down South, in Avondale. I was working my deal which was actually pretty good when my boyfriend called Bell Road Toyota to see if they could beat my deal. Danny at Bell Road Toyota was given all the details. What I was being charged for the car, what my trade in was and what payment I was being given. Danny told my boyfriend he could beat the deal. He didn't have the color I wanted but was sure he could beat my deal. We leave Avondale Toyota and go see Danny. First we ask if they have any 4runners under $30,000. Danny tells us he does then takes us to 4runners that are all way over $30,000. Now my deal begins. We pick the car I want. We go inside and he says he'll give me a great deal (they all say that). Danny shows me the breakdown for the car right away. There is some kind of $800 kickback, doesn't say what it's for. Danny gets the details for my trade in and then comes back with a horrible deal, $70 a month over what I was offered for the same car at Avondale Toyota. Danny in fact offers me $3,000 less for my trade in. I have a number set that I will not except less then. Any way then Danny comes over and asks if I'm a Costco member, they give deals for Costco members. I am a member, I show my card. He comes back and shows me a break down of the car and says he's given me a Costco membership discount only the discount he shows me is the $800 kickback that was originally on the car breakdown. So to me he's telling me he's got this great discount then tries to pass off some number on the original deal as the New Costco discount. I'M NOT STUPID! Danny goes and tries to get me more for my trade in but comes back with just as disappointing of a deal as before. This time he's almost $40 a month over what Avalon Toyota offered me. The worst part, Danny brings out his boss at the end that makes some kind of rude comment about when you're a loser on the other deal come back and see us. UUUMMM no, at this point I would never come back to see you. You've got to have more tact. If you want a buyer you don't treat them that way. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. You've lost my business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What I don't understand is the Avondale Toyota is a one price dealer so they don't haggle price. What you see if what you get. Bell road toyota is a haggle dealer but couldn't beat a Toyota One price dealer. I give up. I hate how car salesmen can tell you they can and will give you a great deal until you're in front of them then they give you the worst deal you've found so far. Do yourself a favor and go to Avondale Toyota. I can tell you, you will get a great deal, no haggle and they'll value your trade in at what it's worth.
