| - My Grumman experience has been slowly sliding down as much as I visit them, but I still like the concept enough and as long as they feed me with Banh Mi tacos I would never complain.
My first Grumman encounter was during the food truck Fridays at the Olympic Stadium. The entire event is so messy and overwhelming that I hardly remember what were the tacos we ordered after waiting on a loong line. They were so delicious to make me think I must visit the restaurant.
The Grumman garage is a sweet place to be, in the coldest winter months I can still imagine I'm sitting outside picnicking with tacos. Sitting at the bar if you are only with your sweet one is preferable as you get faster what you want. If you are in a bigger group I would definitely recommend a table near the opened kitchen at the back of the room, feels kind of warm and more comfy.
Our last dinner was a slight disappointment. Beer list is short anyway, but the IPA was not available, leading to a wave of moaning on our table. Bloody Caesar was just fine, I would say pretty standard. Food wise Grumman rarely lets you down, but I found the tacos bland and even ordinary that night, we shared the beef tacos and tacos del pastor, because guess what, they were out of Banh Mi tacos...!!!! For compensation the Spicy Dynamite appetizer, raw salmon and fennel salad, was outstanding. To round out your satisfaction and tummy never forget to order the sweet potatoes: papas'78!
Special request: Dear Grumman, please, please, keep the Banh Mi tacos permanently on the menu!
