  • A friend and I had lunch at Pirata because we wanted to try something new. It wasn't crowded, but the service was absolutely horrible! The waitress got our orders wrong -- even though we asked several questions about the jerk chicken roti and pointed to it on the menu. She never asked if we wanted anything to drink, and overcharged us. I ate the food that was delivered, my friend requested what she/we originally ordered. My jerk chicken entree should have been cooked a bit more, the rice and beans were dry, but the greens were tender and flavorful. My chicken was not undone, but was not tender. I understand that it's a newly opened restaurant but if you want repeat customers, you should strive to provide excellent service. This was not even decent. I will not be returning or recommending Pirata as a good place to eat.
