Went on a Saturday night around 10pm. We were on the waiting list so we went to the bar for some drinks and noticed that there were at least 2 table in front of us that were clean and empty. Waited for a bit and asked hostess why we weren't being seated when there were tables available. They seated us right away thereafter.
We ordered family style - mac n cheese, pork belly pastrami, chicken & waffles, crab cakes, and bacon popcorn. Food was great. Loved the cheese they used for the mac n cheese; pork belly pastrami I wasn't even look at on the menu but tasted it and it literally melts in your mouth; the breading on the chicken was unique (in a good way, not your typical breading) and the waffles and syrup with some kind of nuts on top that was delish; bacon popcorn i didn't see what the big deal was but then again I don't get the whole bacon craze but all the guys devoured it at the table.
Tried 3 different cocktails all with a unique taste, all excellent. Bartender isn't too attentive, it was hard to get his attention may be because I wasn't sitting at the bar? But it wasn't like he was busy or anyone else was asking for drinks so no bueno on that.
I asked the server (2 because they switched on us in the beginning) to bring out bread because I was starving and the menu said you had to ask for it. The bread didn't come out until after the food, major disappointment.
Overall I can't say much for the service but the cocktails and food are good enough for me to want to come back which says a lot about the eats. Everyone was friendly but may cause I came at the end on a Saturday they were tired? Anyways, worth checking out and definitely order family style.
