| - I'll admit that part of my bad experience is my fault. I went there with a Groupon, that I did not read the fine print that says I needed an appointment 24 hours in advance. That out of the way...
They open at 4pm, and no one was there until after 5. I called the number, and was called back about 45 mins later by a guy who said he was the manager. He apologized and said someone was on the way. He asked if I had an appointment, in which I said no. He said it was OK and we would be able to "play" when the staff person got there.
When she finally arrived, she was very rude to my friend and I. She seemed aggravated that we didn't know much about the game, and hadn't looked at the possible rooms ahead of time to know what to do... sorry, it was my first (and last) time there.
There was also a group of people there (just their group, and my group of two...) and she set them up while we were looking at the rooms. When we decided, I pulled out the Groupon and she declined us, telling me about the fine print. I brought up that the manager said we could play because we were here at 4, and she said we CAN play... if we pay $22 a piece (meaning they weren't already booked or anything,) we just can't use the Groupon because "rules are rules."
So... they don't have any issue with us playing, as long as we pay extra right now... No thanks, refunding that purchase. Thanks for the terrible customer service.
