  • Being a midwestern quasi farm-boy my expectations for a hair cut are very basic. Hair is getting too long: make shorter. I prefer the end result to be somewhat even. I'm easy:) The place itself isn't really all that nice, everything seems pretty old, and not the most kept up, but I am not there to hang out for the afternoon. It's that time of month again and I have one thing on my mind. Here is where Mimi comes in. I call her up, she fits me in that day (or next if I'm on a schedule) and she thanks me for making an appt and not just showing up. When I arrive she sits me down, #3 on the sides, trims the top to where it was a month ago, then thanks me again for making an appt, like I am doing *her* a favor? $13+tip and I'm set for a month.
