I'm changing my review from four stars to three. The reason being is mainly the service. I understand that this is a hole in the wall joint, and I'm all for that, but if the person taking my order cannot even understand English enough to take my order, we have a problem. The girl clearly was not competent enough to take our order. She kept trying to flash her smile, but that's just not going to get our food ordered. I had to ask for the manager twice. Pretty sad. Kind of ruined her whole vibe of this place.
Also, I have read other reviews which state that it is dirty inside lately and I would have to agree. Why is no one dusting off the tables and wiping down the chairs?
While this place was on my mind this morning as I had a craving, I can say that I probably will not be coming here when that craving hits in the future...
I've been here a number of times over the years.
This is an easy get in, get your food, get out place.
It would be awesome if they had more than one vegan option, but I will take it nonetheless. The black bean and guac is absolutely delicious!
I do wish they had more salsas that were vegan. And maybe even more sides. But hey, let's stick to what the plus sides are here. This is an authentic Arepas hole in the wall joint with a super small menu and low prices.
The service is always friendly. And you see them making your food.
When the craving for in arepa hits, this is my one spot in town!
